Social Security, Disability and Retirement Claims

We are qualified Social Security Disability Attorneys.
The attorneys at Taylor & Boguski provide knowledge and legal expertise to clients on social security, disability and retirement benefits in the Mount Laurel, NJ, and South Jersey areas.

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is not a government handout or welfare.
If you become disabled, Social Security Disability Insurance ("SSDI") provides income until your condition improves and guarantees income if it doesn't. It is not a government handout or welfare. It is insurance that you paid for during your working years. Your entitlement is based on mandatory payroll taxes that you have paid and your employer has matched. Our lawyers at Taylor & Boguski supply the necessary legal expertise to make the Social Security disability process less confusing, less intimidating and more convenient for people with disabilities.

How Social Security Disability Insurance works.
SSDI provides disability income in an amount based on an individual's work history earnings. The individual must have worked and paid into the system five out of the last 10 years as a prerequisite to qualifying. Additionally, the person must be considered disabled. Disabled means that you are unable to perform "substantial gainful employment." If someone qualifies for SSD two years after the "disability onset date," they will also be eligible for social security disability Medicare. Medicare provides free medical care. If the disabled individual has minor children, they may also qualify for disability income through survivor benefits.

Social Security Disability
If you believe you are disabled, you should promptly contact your local Social Security Office and submit an application for disability benefits. If you have experienced a disability claim denial, you should contact Taylor & Boguski immediately to preserve your rights.
